WunderMassage uses a specially designed device for passive, contact-free treatment of the body as a whole. You rest fully clothed while the device works, with no active exercise, massage oils or manual pressure.
The technology uses ultra-weak, low-frequency electromagnetic impulses. The treatment supports the body’s natural self-healing processes and is designed for whole-body relaxation in a single session, rather than a therapist working on one area at a time.
According to the technology’s developer, the carefully tuned frequency is intended to produce a resonant response only in tissues where spasm or tension is present: vibration and contraction followed by relaxation. The developer describes this principle as tissue resonance.

When should WunderMassage NOT be used?
It must not be used during pregnancy or by individuals with electronic implants such as insulin pumps, pacemakers or defibrillators.
Recent surgery or radiotherapy: We require a minimum interval of four months after surgery or completion of radiotherapy before considering an WunderMassage session. Suitability must also be checked with your treating surgeon or oncologist.
WunderMassage is also unsuitable for young children, people using transdermal medication patches, and people who have undergone an organ transplant.
It must not be used in patients with angina pectoris, acute bleeding, epilepsy, fever, hyperthyroidism, severe cardiac arrhythmias, severe viral infections, or tuberculosis.
It is also not recommended for grade 3 hypertension.
If you have a diagnosed psychiatric condition, please discuss suitability with your treating clinician before booking.
After a heart attack or stroke: Please wait at least three months after a heart attack or stroke before considering treatment. Clearance from your treating specialist is also required.
Metal implants do not automatically rule out treatment. Please let us know about your implant before your first session so we can check its compatibility with WunderMassage.

Yes. A standard WunderMassage treatment takes 10 minutes; allow 15 minutes for a regular appointment. Your first visit is longer: allow around 30 minutes for the consultation, suitability check and treatment. You can ask questions and reflect on how you feel afterwards before deciding whether to return.

If you have an implanted device, metal implant, a medical condition or have undergone surgery, contact us before booking so suitability can be checked. The consultation does not replace advice from your treating clinician.
