When should WunderMassage NOT be used?
It must not be used during pregnancy or by individuals with electronic implants such as insulin pumps, pacemakers or defibrillators.
Recent surgery or radiotherapy: We require a minimum interval of four months after surgery or completion of radiotherapy before considering an WunderMassage session. Suitability must also be checked with your treating surgeon or oncologist.
WunderMassage is also unsuitable for young children, people using transdermal medication patches, and people who have undergone an organ transplant.
It must not be used in patients with angina pectoris, acute bleeding, epilepsy, fever, hyperthyroidism, severe cardiac arrhythmias, severe viral infections, or tuberculosis.
It is also not recommended for grade 3 hypertension.
If you have a diagnosed psychiatric condition, please discuss suitability with your treating clinician before booking.
After a heart attack or stroke: Please wait at least three months after a heart attack or stroke before considering treatment. Clearance from your treating specialist is also required.
Metal implants do not automatically rule out treatment. Please let us know about your implant before your first session so we can check its compatibility with WunderMassage.
